What a business can do

Keep running your Naver channels, and also keep an official page the business owns that AI crawlers can read. Put business information, answers to common questions and sourced facts on it.

Checklist

Six questions to check your site

  1. Can AI crawlers get in?

Check that robots.txt does not block AI crawlers and that the main text is in the HTML without scripts.

  2. Do you answer the question directly?

Use the questions customers actually ask as headings, and give the answer first in the opening paragraph.

  3. Does every fact have a source?

Attach sources such as press releases or official materials to figures and milestones.

  4. Is company information the same everywhere?

Make sure the company name, address, phone number and product names are written the same way on every channel.

  5. Can machines read it?

Describe the company, products and FAQ in structured data (JSON-LD) as well.

  6. Is it up to date?

Show the last-updated date and fix changed information right away.

Frequently asked questions

How do AEO and GEO differ?

AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) is about writing answers fit to be used directly for a question; GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is about being a source AI can trust and cite for that answer. AEO deals with the form of the answer, GEO with trust as a source.

If we already do SEO, do we still need AEO and GEO?

SEO deals with search rankings, while AEO and GEO deal with whether content is used and cited inside AI-generated answers. Good SEO is a foundation, but question-based structure and organizing sources and company information need separate attention.

Can a Naver Blog alone appear in AI answers?

As checked on Sep 29, 2026, the robots.txt files of Naver Blog and Naver Map block major AI crawlers such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot. Posts on these channels are hard for those AIs to collect directly, so it is better to also keep an official page the business owns.

Will AEO and GEO guarantee appearing in AI answers?

No. AI answers vary with the question and the timing, so measure the same questions repeatedly and judge by comparing before and after improvements.

Is creating an llms.txt file enough?

llms.txt is a supporting file that points AI to a site's main pages. There is little evidence that it alone changes how answers appear, so the structure of the main text and organizing sources and company information come first.
